illuminate 2023: Technology & society
How technology will continue to change our world
21 June | 15:30 – 18:30 | Aga Khan Centre, London
The world is moving at pace. Technology was once just an enabler for humans to do things faster, but new technologies are converging more quickly to transform our businesses, industries, society and lives. There will be more upheaval and opportunity in the coming years than we have ever seen before. With technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics and augmented reality becoming prominent in our daily lives, how do we prepare for our impending future?
illuminate 2023 addresses these areas by exploring lessons from the past in the form of a keynote address and an interactive workshop to help think about technology as an enabler for what’s about to come. The future is happening. The future is now.
illuminate aims to broaden horizons, inspire a new generation of changemakers, and explore how young people can define the future. This event will enable students to explore new ideas, develop analytical skills and contribute to their future outlook.
