Stephen is the key liaison between the donor cultivation and finance teams at AFK (UK), providing support to the full life cycle of grant management. He provides finance, compliance and grant support to AKDN development agencies and institutions. Stephen ensures that donor and AKDN rules are being adhered to regarding procurement, accounting, project expenditure and implementation of activities through regular engagement with the field and remote monitoring as required.

Stephen has over ten years’ experience in finance. Prior to joining AKF (UK) in the latter part of 2015, he worked within the media, retail and telecommunications industry as a financial accountant and as an auditor within the charities sector. He holds a BA from Monash University and a CA qualification through the ICAA.
