Aleeza Mitha
Deputy Director – Europe & Asia (Partnerships)
Aleeza oversees the submission of high-quality proposals and supports donor cultivation efforts to establish and maintain effective partnerships with a variety of institutional donors. She works with agencies across AKDN to identify and pursue new funding opportunities and also manages AKF (UK)’s strategic grants.
Aleeza joined the UK office in 2014, after spending two years with AKDN’s humanitarian agency in Afghanistan, where she provided oversight to programmes and grants management, as well as having responsibility for external relations and resource mobilisation. Aleeza gained an MSc in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics, and a BA in History from Kings College, London.
