Due to COVID-19 and the accompanying lockdown measures, children around the world have been unable to go to school, in some countries for as long as six months.
The Aga Khan Foundation and the Aga Khan Education Services have been at the forefront of responding to this educational crisis by co-designing new solutions with communities, educators, and learners worldwide and adapting their education programming to ensure children can continue to learn, develop and grow during these uncertain times.
AKF’s Dr Andrew Cunningham and Nafisa Shekhova were joined by AKES’s Margery Evans to learn about some of the innovative new approaches they are taking to respond to COVID-19, the medium and long-term impact on education globally and how the education sector might respond to these evolving challenges.
This webinar was moderated by Ronan Ferguson, Manager, Accenture Development Partnerships, Growth Markets.
